Victoria Haggblom is a writer and translator of Swedish with a Master of Fine Arts in English and Fiction Writing from Columbia University and an MA in Scandinavian Studies at University of California at Berkeley. Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, she has lived in New York, New Orleans, and Joshua Tree, and now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she is a is a PhD student at UCB. Victoria has taught writing, language, and literature at Rutgers University, Deep Springs College, Johnson and Wales University, and UC Berkeley. At work on a memoir, she has received artist grants, residencies, and awards from the Villa Lena Foundation in Italy, the Ucross Foundation, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Jentel Foundation, the Santa Fe Arts Institute, the Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry, the National Arts Club, and the American-Scandinavian Foundation, among others.
