Multi-disciplinary artist Victoria Haggblom is a bilingual writer, musician, and translator of with a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in Scandinavian Studies at University of California at Berkeley.
Based in Stockholm, Sweden, Victoria has lived in New York City, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Joshua Tree, and the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley and has taught creative writing, literature, and language at Rutgers University, Deep Springs College, Johnson and Wales University, and University of California at Berkeley.
Currently at work on a literary memoir, Victoria has received artist grants, residencies, and awards from the Villa Lena Foundation in Italy, the Ucross Foundation in Wyoming, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Jentel Foundation, the Santa Fe Arts Institute, the Witter Bynner Foundation for Poetry, the National Arts Club, Columbia University, the Swedish Institute, and the American-Scandinavian Foundation, among others.
